What is Kambaba Jasper? The kambaba jasper is a sedimentary fossil of prehistoric algae from billions of years ago. It receives its blue-green color and black spots and swirls from the fossilised algae colonies. This means that it is not actually a type of jasper like the ocean jasper at all.
